AM Aligner: Bite Repositioner
The AM Aligner® is a device designed to help patients restore their normal bite alignment after using a mandibular advancement device (MAD) like the EMA® appliance during sleep. Wearing a MAD can sometimes cause temporary changes in bite alignment due to the forward positioning of the lower jaw. The AM Aligner is used each morning to guide the jaw back to its natural position, alleviating any discomfort or bite alterations that may have occurred overnight.

How do I mold the AM aligner?
Instructions are included in the package. To customize the AM Aligner, soften it in boiling water for about one minute, place it over your upper teeth, and bite down firmly in your natural bite position. Mold the material around your teeth using your fingers, let it cool in your mouth, and then rinse it under cold water to harden.
How often do I wear the AM aligner?
Every morning after wearing your snore guard. After removing your snore guard upon waking, wait approximately 30 minutes before using the AM Aligner.
How do I wear the AM aligner?
Place the AM Aligner over your upper teeth. Gently guide your lower jaw back so that your lower teeth fit into the indentations on the bottom of the aligner. Once your teeth are properly positioned, bite down gently to bring your back teeth together. Repeat this squeezing action until your bite feels normal. This process typically takes 5 to 10 minutes.
If my bite is having a hard time going back together, what can I do?
If you experience difficulty in achieving your normal bite, applying warmth can help. Taking a hot shower or using a warm pack on your jaw joints can facilitate the process.
How do I remove the AM aligner?
To remove the AM Aligner, start by gently loosening it from your back teeth before taking it out of your mouth.
